I make fine silver. Custom statues, real craft, real skill. I also have six kids.
For a long time I knew social media was the key to growing my brand. So I did what everyone says to do. I learned Canva. Watched the YouTube tutorials. Then Buffer. More tutorials. Then ChatGPT for captions. Then a video app. Then a scheduling tool. Five apps. Days of learning. Then hours every day actually using them — staging photos, editing, writing captions, scheduling posts. All after already working a full day at the bench.
I was spending $500 to $1,000 a month on ads on top of all of it. And I genuinely did not know if it was working. Was it the ads? The Instagram post from Tuesday? To find out I had to log into the ads dashboard. Then Instagram insights. Then Etsy stats. Then try to connect the dots across three platforms that do not talk to each other.
Everyone said the same thing. Keep posting. Keep paying. It will work eventually.
